2 Paypals have been permanently limited,Almost lose $10,000
 

Hi Folks,

Here is my recent headache.
My business paypal account was limited last week due to selling unauthorized items.This is my main paypal and could receive $1000-1500 per day. My ebay is fine. So I link another backup paypal to continue selling (removed all potential risk lisintgs). But today this backup paypal has been limited too and this paypal is linked virtual bank. There are almost $10,000 in these paypals.
I am worried if paypal will release the fund since there is no real bank for that paypal and this limit is permanently limited .
And there are about 120 unshipped orders need to ship. I am not sure if I would ship these. Or I just refund all orders (Not sure I could refund).
But I still want to use this eBay account.

Here is that email I received:

We have recently reviewed your PayPal account activity, and determined that
you are in violation of PayPal's Acceptable Use Policy regarding your sales
/ offers of unauthorized items

As a result, your account has been permanently limited and this cannot be
appealed.

Please remove all references to PayPal from your website/s and/or
auction/s. This includes not only removing PayPal as a payment option, but
also the PayPal logo and PayPal shopping cart.

The PayPal User Agreement states that PayPal reserves the right to limit
an account for any violation of the PayPal User Agreement, including the
Acceptable Use Policy.

Under the PayPal Acceptable Use Policy, PayPal may not be used to send or
receive payments for items that infringe or violate any copyright,
trademark, right of publicity or privacy, or any other proprietary right
under the laws of any jurisdiction. This includes transactions for
counterfeit items or unauthorized replicas or copies of items.

My suggestion is to stop playing with fire and start again. I dont like leaving a few hundred bucks in paypal. I withdraw several times a day if needed. Never leave a balance in paypal like this.

Dump the ebay account and start fresh. Every single paypal you add to this ebay will end in the same results. It is an instant link.

wow! mate why would you leave that kind of money in your paypal account? :O
I suggest you don't ship the items, and just refund them. And of course, your ebay's seller performance will be affected. You have no assurance that paypal will give you back your money, since you said you don't have real banks attached to them. Run more stealth accounts, and do not do this again. Goodluck!

Let's hope they let you take it out after 180 days, but by the way PayPal has been lately, they might as well ask you for VALID ID (which needs to match 3rd party data) to release funds. If not, they can hold it forever.

Next time be more careful about letting your funds build up that high.

A long string of canceled transactions through ebay will get your insta suspension. I'd say better off shipping the items, if it were me. Also greatly depends on the profit margin and if paypal gives you hope of getting your money back in .5 years. Good luck

I received the same type of email few months ago, but i was lucky that only left less than $100 on both accounts. I just refunded all the pending orders, do not ship them! Otherwise, you will just lose more money.

This ebay account has very good performance with more than 2000 positive feedbacks. I always left some money for ebay fee and shipping labels.
It is heartbreak to lose money and ebay account.
Today I receive an ebay message from a strange guy says he can help me get the paypal back. It is very wired how he can know my paypal is limited. I feel like he report me to paypal and set me up. Now he want some money to help me...

No matter how you think how strong you account is..never never leave huge amount for Paypal to steal...

Yes, you are right. I asked my worker to transfer once a week.Now maybe more
Sometimes paypal needs enough balance to pay ebay fee and shipping labels.

Withdraw all but $100 each morning after printing all of your shipping labels, paying your eBay fees, and handling any returns/cases. There's nothing suspicious about a business withdrawing daily. Many businesses have to withdraw daily to maintain cash flow.

Let this be a lesson to you never never never leave large amounts of cash in your PayPal account their theives and when given the opportunity will take your funds withdraw daily as stated previously all the best with the future.

Yes, I should withdraw everyday.
Now I am setting up Authorize.net to link. I can not lose my account since I have workers and warehouse.
Hopefully it will work...

Also I could not pay eBay fee $32xx by using that paypal balance. I have to pay by myself if I want to use this ebay account. So frustrated...

It will work, but your sales will decrease drastically. If you were getting 150 daily sales with Paypal, you'll be lucky to get 10 with a merchant account. Once you get a merchant account and link it to your current eBay you should really start building up new account(s) with Paypal as the payment method.

Yes, I did. I have 12 accounts. But this one is running best and I keep listing new items on this account.

Form a new LLC and shift your focus. Your eBay with the dead Paypal will never be the same. You won't be able to rely on it as your primary income source anymore.

Really ? I think it is same as PayPal. Some people think it is better than papal as I searched.
