Paypal Issue
 

Ok here is the issue, I bought stealth account 4 years ago and everything with paypal has been cool, my original paypal got suspended 5 years ago. The second year I went over the 20k and gave them ss#, same thing last year and this year. So a few minutes ago I get an email under my old paypal email address that my paypal has been limited, duh haven't used it in 4 years. Thought it was a scam. Then my current email received the same, $2000 in it and limited for 180 days. So I am guessing after 3 and a half years they realized the ss# are the same.

Advice?
I will be calling tomorrow. My attached ebay is in a generic business name and so is email. My paypal is in my name now, started out as stealth and changed to my name when tax documents were requested 3 years ago. No problems up until now???

So what can I expect. Since tax docs are legit I am guessing in 180 I will get my money. Paypal in my real name.

NEXT question - the ebay account 5000/50,000 is still up and was active until I ended all listings. Luckily only one shipping item left. Can I open a new paypal and attach to that awesome account.

Luckily I have three other stealths.

account that has issues. Please resolve the issues within 14 days. If the
issues aren't resolved, we'll have to further limit your account.

understand this may be frustrating and inconvenient but you'll still be

You'll be able to withdraw money from your account within 180 days. We'll
email you when it's available. We just want to make sure that you have
money in your account to cover any payment reversals.

The answer is the same here as it is in your other thread. You can't ever recycle a tax ID. The link wasn't established in years past because you most likely didn't pass 200 AND $20,000 those years, so a 1099k wasn't created for you and the same SSN on two accounts wasn't noticed.

I went into detail in your other thread about why you can't use the eBay with a new PP. You can consider attaching a merchant account to the eBay account but you'll never be able to attach another PP without it being limited too.

You won't have any problems getting your money out in 6 months as long as you had a bank account linked to the PP account before the limitation.

Thanks , I was just in high panic mode as 50K income just went out the door, not real worried abut the $5-6000 they are holding as I do have a good job and also draw Social Security and have no debt. Just PO'd that I got 1099s two years in a row on same SSN without issue and this year it takes down my two top accts, Down to just one minor acct left.

Couple of points.

Be careful with what info you post.

Enbolded words attract comments you may not like.

Before you start again, may I suggest you learn stealth properly.. there are people who have managed to get back using stealth. You can learn the right methods. That way you might be spared issues.
