Paypal Account Locked/suspened. Ebay still good. NEED ADVICE

My US ebay/paypal account has been active for a year now.
I recently had a bad customer service VA who I did not monitor closely enough (my fault)

Paypal limited my account, and gave me instructions on what info they needed. I gave them and then logged in and saw this:

They currently have $50,000 on hold, and $24,000 that is going to be held from new sales (its a weekend so i couldn't transfer it out.

I could buy a new ebay and paypal account and transfer all my products... is there an easier way to do it so i can keep my ebay account?

Too many disputes due to bad customer service?

I would suggest having multiple eBay + PayPal accounts and to spread out your sales over these accounts. This way if in the future one goes down, it won't shut your business down completely.

As for your current eBay account, it's stuck in the water with that PayPal account. If I were you I would call up PayPal and see what could be done about getting your account back. There is s still a chance.

I appreciate the response.

I called paypal and they have given me nothing but bad news. I called them several times.
they have 70k of mine for 180 days.

I like the idea of having multiple accounts....

ok so i saif F*$K it to them and moved my store to authorize.net.... anyone wanna take guesses on how much my sales will decrease/increase/stay the same????

To just about anyone, $70k is a HUGE amount of money.

The main question people here will be asking is WHY did you allow the balance to get that high in the first place?

You should really consider spreading your sales to multiple accounts.

Sales will probably drop about 95%. You won't have to worry about the big sums getting locked up any more.

Of course, if your customer services sucks this badly, Authorize won't want you either long term, or anybody else I can think of.

Just a side comment, blame it on your employee if you want, but the captain of a ship is responsible for everything that happens aboard.

You're responsible for that person's actions. You let them run amuck.

Hard to argue when somebody takes responsibility for messing up and works hard to do better.

That's a pretty big hit, attorney time?

In the future you need to spread these sales out across 3-4-5 accounts. Never leave all your eggs in one basket. It makes you very vulnerable to this kind of disaster.
