Funds are still stuck!
I requested a check and received it. Went to the bank and the teller said I couldnt deposit it because the check is not under my name
What do I do now =/
Cant I cancel the check and on address 1 of the request check put my business name so it shows up under the stealth name and I can cash out like that?
Can you try to endorse the check to yourself? Put the name in the back of the check that way?
"In my experiences" Online banking app . I sign the back write online deposit under it ,take a pic front and back and hit send . Funds in the account next day.
Only had to do this a couple times over the years and been months since i lost an account,So this advice mite be little dated.
i did not read all replies to this post but move a little more each day works.....and wow shy would anyone put 7k in a one paypal is beyond me good luck

I havent had a transaction in almost a year I just tried withdrawing the funds too many times now it got limited.
Cant even log in to the account because it keeps asking me for the phone

I'd say withdraw 50-100 bucks every 2-3 days. Take it slow and easy and you'll win the race on this one. I mean, what's the hurry? you'll end up collecting all 7k anyways. Yes, I know, you probably have bills to pay within a couple of weeks. Need to find other ways to pay that bill, but with this slow and steady method, at least you'll know you'll collect all 7k eventually rather than have all the money locked out forever.

If you deposit the check in your acct the bank HAS to take it for deposit. Your teller will not cash it, but you can always deposit it. They might hold it till it clears, but they cannot refuse it.
