$7000 stuck in paypal after 180 days
 

My money is still stuck in my paypal account after 180 days
I added a bank but when I tried to transfer it all it said they wanted a quick security check. I transferred a small amount of $50 to see if it would go through and it did, but then I tried to transfer the remaining 6950$ and it once again said "quick security check". I dont have that number active anymore. I called Paypal and they asked me some public records questions I didnt pass, and then they said the only way I can get my money is from a check because I dont have that number active anymore.
What do I do? I cant send a check to some random address on file =((

renewing crucial info and taking things VERY slow are key right now bud... dont force nothen. just take it slow and you ll be fine... your not taken 6950 out in one swoop at this point tho.:surrender:

Is the account name stealth or your real one? If the check name is not yours, can you set up a similar company sounding name to bank the check?
Any way to give them proof of a new address maybe? for the check....people move whilst they are limited so...

wait 4-5 days then try to transfer $3475...normally if you wait couple days you wouldn't see that security message anymore.

I have always withdraw all funds from limited accounts in one swipe.

Create lots of browsing history is my only advice and try again in a few days. Log in, click around, let time out and repeat every day.

Same here, I usually pull out all the money in one go from a limited account. It shouldn't matter since the account is already limited and you are expected to take the money out anyway.

Just try different amounts.I had a regular account the other day give me errors on withdraws, i lowered the amount a few hundy and it went through

Will try to withdraw it in a few days and hope it will work. Will keep you guys updated so someone can benefit from this.
If I do want to withdraw from a check under a stealth name would it be possible to deposit without any issues?

Have them send a check to an address you have access to. Once you get it we can tell you how to deposit it. :)

withdraw 50 usd wait 24 hours withdraw 50 usd wait 24 hours withdraw 200 usd wait 24 hours withdraw 300 usd wait 24 hours withdraw 500 dollar wait 24 hours withdraw 49% wait 24 hour withdraw the rest :-)

Perhaps you should try withdrawing a percentage. Try 50% then wait a day or two then withdraw the rest. If not just withdraw 25% at a time. All about playing with the numbers.

If it's doing the security check and won't let you take out the money, then try it after 30 days from the first time they did the security check and didn't allow you to withdraw the money.

How would this work?
I’m going to wait two more days to see if the security code is still there but would love to learn more about this method as I won’t need to open so many bank accs

Certainly if you can withdraw it via bank transfer that would be easiest. Try to start with a smaller sum, don't do it all at once.

Question is that USPS *may* not send the check unless the name matches the person who lives at a particular address. Even if the address is correct and you have access to us, some postal carriers will return or not deliver mail of some "stealth name".

Assuming you can actually get a check from PayPal, depositing it shouldn't be that much of a problem these days, especially with a larger bank. I have deposited third party checks into my business accounts without any issues made out to random people. I'm usually endorsing the back as "FOR DEPOSIT ONLY FOR ACCT #XXXXX"
Alternatively, you can also use mobile deposit or deposit at your ATM.

But, your biggest issue if the PayPal is stealth is actually RECEIVING the check in the first place at an address you have access to that hasn't already been used with PayPal before.

the address can be reused to get the check......i am getting checks right now from paypal by reusing an address at the moment.

the usps has new protocols, if you have the check sent to a house that is vacant meaning nobody has mail registered there......they wont put it in the mailbox.

if its a house that is currently occupied with mail going there, they will put the check in it.

every mailman is different.......but so far I have not had an issue......:spy:

OP is talking about a limited account.

Practise for years has been to get the funds out bluidy darn quick!

That said, we have not even been told if he got the paypal ‘you are limited email’.

It doesn't matter, it's all about your carrier. If your carrier and you are close, anything is possible :)

Funds are still stuck!
I requested a check and received it. Went to the bank and the teller said I couldnt deposit it because the check is not under my name
What do I do now =/
Cant I cancel the check and on address 1 of the request check put my business name so it shows up under the stealth name and I can cash out like that?

I know what I'd do. But not gonna advise it lol. Not that it sounds like you've taken any that's been given anyways. Some people make things so much more complicated than they have to be.

You stated you added a bank ,ALOT has to do with what bank you added . some banks will cause this same "check" on a good account .. Care to share the bank added ? Brick and mortar or a online bank ?
