$2.5k stuck in PP after 180 days
 

Because of some **** ups, I can't link a bank account and my only choice is to withdraw as check.

Problem is,

1. I can't withdraw check to my address because I already have my legit PP associated with it. I can change addr to PO box, but PP says they don't accept withdrawal to PO box. I don't know how strictly this is enforced. Is there a work around?

2. Name on PP is completely different than my real name. I use bbva mobile deposit and can get BoA if need be, will the check still deposit?

Call up PayPal and have a rep add your bank account.

Check will deposit via mobile app.

I tried. I called and ask, they request an ID for that. I accidentally uploaded wrong one (****ing stupid I know) so they can't verify my identity now. Can only request check.


That's reassuring. But I can only use PO box for now, and they don't like that for checks.

THen use the PO box, it's not illegal to use that... tell them to mail it there then as aspkinsaid, use your mobile app to deposit.

Also for future reference, I highly suggest you read the ebay stealth for ebay and paypal stuff. There's a lot of details in there that you'll need so you know how to solve this type of issues and many more in the future.

*Before you may withdraw funds by check, you must confirm a non-P.O. Box address

Last time I called they just requested a check to my address on file without me doing anything verification, but I don't know if they'll do the same with a PO box on file. I'll try.

Instead of the PO Box use the physical address of the post office instead. Just put Suite # then your POB# after the street name. It works fine.

Either that, or open a short term mailbox at a mailbox service either in person or online.
