Money under 72 hr review before account limited
 

My account was limited today but I attempted to withdraw money a few days ago and that money is under 72 hours review. Does anyone know if Paypal will cancel that and put the money back in my Paypal account or will it be released into my bank account?

If it was not sent to your bank yet, it will be cancelled. You should be able to see the status in your paypal.

If the money does hit your bank account, I would call them ASAP and tell them to block any attempt from paypal to take the money back out

Thank you. Some of it did go into my account. I received notifications of money being transferred to my bank so it looks like they are releasing more. I'll contact my bank to make sure it stays.

You can switch account status to DEPOSIT ONLY.

As Rsot stated above, many large banks allow you to specify a "DEPOSIT ONLY" option on the account which means EFT cannot be processed, only internal withdrawals or transfers. I have this setup with my Wells Fargo business accounts to avoid any funny business with PayPal trying to take money out without my permission.
