Paypal requesting ITIN
 

Paypal is requesting either SS# or ITIN on my account. I'm no where near 20k...very small potatoes seller compared to others. Read that upgrading to a business account will fix this? How is that done and is it 100% the solution here? I just don't wanna do that and they start asking for more info. I believe I already have an EIN # associated with this particular account that I got from the IRS site...can't remember.

Any help is appreciated

I was just about to make a post about this as well, i was going thru the exact same issue as you and then started getting requests for SS or ITIN. I added an EIN number and that was ok for a few days and then WHAM.....account limited.

I’m pissed about this as I am not near the $20K limit or etc, more details in my post if interested...will be up soon.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I already have an EIN # associated with my account already. Someone said upgrade to a business account to fix this. I don't see how that will help though. I know how frustrating it is...sorry. Keep me posted
