Paypal Limited with 14.900 usd inside
 

Hello. First of all, please guys don't kill me for leaving so much money in paypal i know i ****ed up okay?

I received the email saying that my account is permanently limited and that i will be able to withdraw my money after 180 days. I have my usa bank account already linked.

The limit for withdrawal is 10.000$ in a single transaction. Now my question is I will be able to make 2 withdrawals for example 9.900$ first and 5.000$ next day? or is only 1 withdraw allowed after the 180 days?

First off allow me just 1 word - OUCH!
As for your question - there is no limit on the number of withdrawals youre allowed to make. At least not from my experience.

Yes, ouch... 2 years of my life working everyday to earn it and now its stuck there..

yea, you should be able to get all that money out in 180 days.

What happened to your account that it got suspended?

You will be able to do split withdrawals (in most cases) once the limitation period is up.

At first I thought you actually went to the lengths of making a post about a limited PP account $14.90... but wow!

There is no guarantee you'll ever be able to withdraw this money, just to bring you back down to reality. But odds are, if everything pans out smooth, they'll release the funds for withdrawal.

Secondly, you cant withdraw such a large sum in two instalments. You'll need to withdraw in much smaller increments, slowly, over a long period of time, to avoid funds getting locked up for good (if/when they decide to allow withdrawal after 180 days).

Paypal certainly does allow large (5k+) withdrawals.

I have been regularly able to w/d large amounts from limited PP's once the 180 days is over with no problem. You can just remove the max, assuming there are no other isssues.

My linked bank account is Bank of America, the name of my paypal is different, i made alot of withdrawals before the limitation and no problem but never with so much money, will i get some trouble with the bank if i make 2 withdrawals 9.900$ and 5000$ or 7.000$ and 7.900$?

Just withdrew three paypals, $1800, $1700 and $985 with no issues.

At first glance I thought this was $14.90, but then I realized it was $14K

That is a ton of money, but usually it isn't a problem to get the money out past 180 days

you won't have any problem. at one point in my Ebay career, I would continuously have 60k+ locked up in various PayPal at all times

Don't let it discourage you from working... build up the capital and never slow down. that money is never lost, but in "savings" mode for 180 days.

Just never let the bank account get removed or VCC expire. THEN you're effed!

GEEZ MAN NO BUENO...

Keep your bank account and card in good working order. You should be able to withdraw it all at the end of the time period. If not call ebay up and usually they will do it for you manually.

You should keep multiple accounts. Do not ever get caught up and forget that paypal does not care.

Is hard to keep motivated when something like this happen :confused:

Fortunately the VCC will not expire.

I will be updating this thread by January 31 2019 and will tell you guys what happened, i hope to have good news.

Yes they do, but my advice was based on this particular context, it is way too risky. Heck, the OP may find themselves in a worse predicament, whereby funds are locked away completely.

Can happen, and has happened, even after the 180 day wait, and funds are released.

wow it happens i had 5 thou locked up in paypal. should be alright if it's a stealth and a good bank for deposits, but youre gonna have to wait at least 6 months before getting to see any of that. good luck.

GOOD NEWS PEOPLE, I withdrew ALL THE MONEY in 2 withdrawals 8k first and then 6.898$

Thank god, six long and stressful months of waiting are over.

Please dont make the same mistake i did leaving so much money in paypal, there is a risk of losing it i was lucky enough to recover it but you never take chances.
