Bought stealth, curious on setup
 

Im planning on selling ingame items from an MMO i play, and they will pay with
friends and family (paypal), will i encounter any problems? Do i need a bank account, or can i just use the vanilla gift card?
and yes, i purchased stealth. Not opening an ebay, just paypal

Steps i figure i to setup account-
New Login on computer
Internet will be tethered from my phone
Random name and e-mail address
Vanilla visa gift card
Address will be a random one from my area, phone number will be a virtual phone number

Will i encounter any problems? Unfortunately yes

Selling digital items is always a risk and taking all payments via F&F also causes a lot of issues

Need to try to at least mix in some real items and you need to avoid F&F payments

Repetitive F&F payments are considered tax evasion and fee circumvention and will get you shut down very quickly. You're selling a product so use "goods & services" payments, or simply invoice your customers from within Paypal.

Friends and family payments will most likely get your account suspended.

As for foundation to create a strong account, I highly recommend ebay stealth.

Once you get it, you'll be able to go more into specifics and ask more detailed questions

F&F never cause any issues, as far as I know, F&F never triggered an limitation for me & they won't care unless you're using a business account and they see you getting F&F payments back and forth.

F&F has caused many issues for ppl - OP listen to the other posters.

Also, digital products are always looked at negatively by Paypal.

Finally, why not look at a different option than paypal for payment?

F&F payments have been getting people's account limited here on the forum for a decade.

Doesn't matter what kind of account you're using. Once it becomes obvious you're lying about the payment type your account dies.

I got limited because of F&F transactions. I was a noob back then though, and was selling my video making services online via F&F. Did like 20 transactions before getting limited... So definitely use goods and services.

That's true, once they see/or they trigger an manual review, that's when the acc dies.

You tend to get a warning email if you only receive as friends and family payments. The email baasically says if you don't stop we will remove your accounts ability to receive f+f payments. That's it. So you do get warned first...

You will 100% get flagged and or suspended for doing friends and family.

Just pay them their fees, you owe it to them.
