Hey guys, I got a prepaid mastercard for my paypal account. It needs to be registered with my name, nric (something like ssn), address and number. I'll be inputting my paypal name, virtual office address and new prepaid phone number.
My question is if i input my NRIC, would paypal be able to see? Or would they only see my billing address and name. Thanks for answering!

If you have used the NRIC before, likely easily linkable...

Paypal cannot see the information you give to Mastercard to register your card. However, you shouldn't be giving Mastercard any false (stealth) info as that constitutes credit card fraud in most countries. Your name isn't checked so you should register the card in your real name + your stealth address.

@rsot I've actually never used my nric to verify before, just that my previous account got banned. It's linked with my bank account and debit card though. So was wondering if they can see my NRIC from my banned debit card and link it with my new prepaid mastercard.

@phaz0rz Ok thanks! Just to clarify, paypal can only see the prepaid mastercard's address? And using my virtual office address won't constitute as credit card fraud right? Thanks man

If you have used the NRIC before, likely easily linkable and PayPal will be able to see it.
