What happens if you receive funds in your Paypal account after it has been limited?

Will the 180 days reset? I'm so confused!

No - the 180 days begins and continues on - at one point you will not be able to receive any funds (few weeks after limitation - either 14 or 21 days I forget)

So you wait for the 180 days then you withdraw the funds to your bank account basically.

This is just misleading; if you are 180 day (permanently) limited you simply can't recieve funds. You can only receive funds if your account is "temporarily" limited.

So does the 180 days start when you get limited or when you get permanently limited?

I don't think anyone can say for certain exactly when the time starts, but I've received "funds eligible for release" emails on limited PayPals that had only been limited 4 months or so, and that I was still being asked to submit info on.. I would say no longer than 180 days from the initial limitation..
