Need Help PayPal Pros! (from Egypt)
 

I was dealing with Paypal naively not knowing anything about limitations and thought there's nothing I was doing wrong. I have a business account and I was receiving a couple hundred dollar payments and over a thousand, a few thousand and the last one was 4k$+. The next thing I know is that my accout with 5,990$ got PERMANENTLY limited without the right to appeal, dispute or verify anything.

I called them and emailed and tried everything, kicking, screaming and nothing works of course and I was told I'll get a message after 180 days to be able to withdraw my funds.

I did the best I could and called the paypal team to manually refund my last payout of 4,2790$ on my belhalf which is 70% of the balance that got limited (at least get sth out!) and wait 180 days on the rest.


Note: * Egyptian PP accounts only allow VISA Credit Cards to be linked & USA bank accounts (which most of us don't have so we rely on VISA credit cards for withdrawals) So I can't link a bank to verify Identity.


My Question (Will this approach written below get me limited again?!) ...

Now,I created two new genuine PERSONAL PP accounts, one under my mother's name and the other under my father's name and I'll be using their Passport # and phone #s.

I work as a freelancer and have several thousand dollars stashed online and planning to withdraw ONLY 500$ every 15 days (twice a month) to each of those new PayPal VERIFIED accounts of my parents. and I'm thinking I should send PP an email beforehand asking if my account is in good shape to receive 500$ (without of course letting them know I had a limited account).


Plz advise guys!

Using mom and dad info and passport # - are they ok with this? Not good stealth.

Your approach may get you limited again if you operate in the same way...

Thanks for responding!. Actually this time it's a personal account and I won't hit the 1k$, I'll only send 500$ twice a month.


Actually, I don't care about stealth for this one. I'm 27 btw but my parents don't use Paypal.


What do you suggest?
Not sending them a message asking if the account is in good shape? I also read that one can go with 500$ max per transaction and not frequently.

Even if your parents don't use it...it's still not best practice to use family and friend info, i'm just saying.

You need to understand how stealth process works (this is done by either/and getting stealth guide + reading forum posts for hot topics). You don't to understand exactly what got your old account limited and make business model changes to avoid repetition.

Remember that high amounts on new pp accounts can cause security issues - you need to go SLOW and STEADY....sub100 for a while then 200 then 400 then 800 etc - over few months slowly building. There is no 100% rule that works however - you can be limited at anytime if your operations are risky for PP.

The reason I got limited for sure is getting large payouts well over 1k$ and withdrawing over 1k$ also and I'm not document verified (didn't include a passport, just the normal phone/credit card verification).

I rly hate paypal, I don't wanna use it again I just wanna get like 500$ out once a month even using two accounts for a 1000$ total and then kiss it goodbye to use Payoneer (tho they also close accounts for undisclosed reasons from what I saw).

I spend more time trying to come up with ways to withdraw my money than focusing on expanding my business x_x lol

I read alot of the topics in the forum but will check out the stealth pdf as well

I have some accounts, i got payments like $3000 with no issue.
Sure 2nd payment my PP get limited, But I send the DOCs and they reinstate it, so I continue
you must did something wrong with your account to get the 180 days permanently limitation

for now yes, I'm waiting for payoneer integration on the freelance platform I'm on. but I'll take it carefully then two because I heard payoneer closing accounts without any contact and their customer support sucks balls from what I know -tho they are less restrictive and cost-efficient than paypal.


Hey my Egy fellow!
As you know they refuse to disclose the reasons but what I got out of the customer support is that the account is permanently limited due to high-risk activity, and the woman from the customer support told me because there are large payments being received and a change in the pattern of selling, also I'm a reseller ... she told me it looks like your payments are going in circles between a few entities or people (fraud!?) ... etc.

I told her I want to provide proof of funds for all the transactions and all but the decision is final and I can't appeal.

I'm trying to refund my customers and have them pay me elsewhere. But not sure If they'll allow me to do it to the point of emptying my balance.

the only way to do this..
ask your buyers to open disputes
call paypal tell them that you did not ship the items and you would like to grant the refund based on the dispute

I think they did that because you tried to avoid the 30 days hold!!

Hey buddy, no actually I haven't tried to avoid anything. I have this account set up since late 2017 and been just fine buying all the time and receiving in varying amounts and some are large payments of course. I spent some long time before I got paid on Paypal so I must have surpassed any initial limitation the account had after creation.
