Changing phone number on limited paypal
 

Does anyone know if changing the phone number so I can verify to add a bank to my account work even if the account is limited? My account has been limited for almost 180 days. I wanted to add my bank beforehand so I can be ready to withdraw when they release the money but when I do, its asking I have to verify its me by them sending a text to a google voice number which I don't have anymore.

You will need to add a number but, even when you do, there are certain things you should know to help you get your money faster. The way to do it is in linked thread below.

How can you change the number if it's asking to verify the other number - do you see an option existing to change the number? I'm a bit confused

Under settings in the profile section. It looks like I could change the number if I wanted to. It only asks to verify by text when I try to add my bank.

No you can not change your phone number when PP account get limited.
