Received PP Invoice - Pay as Guest

Basically this worked before where I had someone send me a PP invoice and I was able to pay as a guest with debit card not linked to my limited account. It worked a few times and then stopped working.

Since then I've tried using a gift card but that didn't work. If I wanted to pay via guest from a paypal invoice I received do I have any options? Are there any gift cards that would work in my situation?
