Default Canadian paypal limited

So i got hit with a limitation after trying to send a payment from my account. Aprx 900 usd in the account.

Email says "Under Canadian law, PayPal is required to collect additional information from you due to your recent account activity. Please provide this information soon to avoid any interruption to your PayPal services."

i guess the account isnt limited yet but before i can do anything i need to provide this info. Has anyone had any issues with canadian accounts like this. Barely had any activity on it recently- over 4 months old and was running perfectly no holds or anything.

does anyone know also if in this case i can refund friends and family payments i have received?

I don't know.. but I know the F&F payments were most likely the problem.

Refunding those amounts is unlikely to recover the account - just fyi.

If you don't see the button to refund the payments then the only way is to call into PP and have a CSR agent to do manual refunding.

F&F payments as well as selling too quickly (+/- risky item sales) are likely what led to your problem.
