Paypal wont let me withdraw...
 

Ok so I forgot about this one account. Anyways a year nd half later I log in and want to withdraw my money i try to add my bank and i couldnt. So i called paypal...the first time...and they said if you want your money your going to have to submit a picture of your ssn. Im like ok so I say ill be back and hang up..(this is from some random IP) a few days later I call back (on a random IP ALL USA IPS) and I ask why i cant add my bank so the rep says i need to ask you public record so i answer public record to add bank and again answer public record to try and withdraw...I try to withdraw and it automatically says "Sorry we cant confirm its you" The rep said I answered all my security stuff good and doesn't know why this is happening. He said he was going to message the "backteam" could this be just a security feature and I need to wait like 24hours? or is this still some kind of internal security problem and they will still demand a picture of my SSN? thanks in advance.

They'll probably still want docs from you of some sort.

Apparently this is common on accounts that have sat for a while with no activity. I'm starting to think that less active accounts are being hit with the new regs first (like "claim it", having to re-add bank accounts, etc). I say that because the only account I've had any issues like that on is an old business account that I'll use to accept 1 or 2 payments annually. That one account got the claim it, but all my other much more active accounts are fine still.

UPDATE: I went back into the paypal and i was like let me try and withdraw funds to confirmed vba from the very very beginning. Guess what...it works on the vba. So im thinking I may have to confirm the bank i just attached in order to withdraw? Since its letting me withdraw to VBA?

ALSO A WEIRD THING HAPPENED. I went to try and withdraw $1.00 to the bank I just added and it would let me. I then backed out and put $1 again then it gave me the error again.....

Maybe it's because you tried to do 2 suspiciously small withdrawals back to back?

I'd just come back in a day or two and try withdrawing again to the bank.

Ill confirm the bank with deposits if that dont work something major is up cause it allows withdraw to vba...sooo yeah should be working after confirming ill keep you guys posted.

I’m having the same problem I bought an account on the forums that was aged for 90 days when I try to add a new bank it asks me to answer public record information to confirm it’s me it has a VBA on it I wonder if I try to send money to the VBA if it will work anyone have an advice.
