FYI SSN on Paypal
 

FYI if you transpose digits on your ssn on paypal it will say "that ssn is not consistent with the ssn on file for you"

transpose - cause (two or more things) to change places with each other.

Well to "accidently" transpose two digits because the original was attached to a banned acct.

that's like giving a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ SSN to PayPal, but PayPal check it IRS, Government or just with a credit score bureau ...and they just see a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ SSN ...

So I put in my banned SSN, 3 months ago and I am assuming as long as I don't go over 20k I will be good.

You are not the only one who transposed numbers,my state sales tax auditor went thru my bank statements to trace coming and going of funds,mainly coming $$ and sent me a list of transactions insisting these are sales I made accepting cash payment.
And he decided that these are all cash sales made to the state residents and I fail to collect/report sales tax.
I found quite a few mistakes,he transposed the dates,reversing mm/dd,some yy.
So I sent him back the list highlighting the mistakes and urge him to correct them,he replied he made no mistake as they are taken from my bank statements.
Wait till I show him the proof that these are not from selling some items and accepting cash payment and not from any fellow residents.and the dates he entered are wrong !
States are now looking into sales tax ,my state is thinking of raising sales tx by 1/4 point as homeowners cant afford to pay more in property tax.

I dont know any of you with steath account,have you ever been audited by the state?
In my state, they llook back 4 years,they want to see your sales ledger,your Paypal account,Ebay account,your bank accounts,hey will go thru your Paypal account looking for shipping label for your state.
they will not take your word how many sales are made to buyers in your own state,also use tax,did you buy something from sellers and they did not collect sales tax from you,if so,you the buyer pays the sales tax you should have paid when you made the purchase.
Both Paypal and Etsy show the shipping address of the buyers,so this is what they will be looking at to decide how much sales tax you should have collected.
SO KEEP good records,also banks do not keep your records forever,make sure you keep them either hard copy or some device
