Paypal limited account
 

My Paypal account was limited about 5 months ago. It has about 700 in it. I can't lift the limitation becase they asked for a SSN number and I use a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name.

Well they claim I can withdraw it to my bank account on file after 180 days and this is coming up next month.

Has anybody actually got their money after the 180 days? Do they really release it?

Also do you have to send them more info when the 180 days is up or can you just withdraw it?

If that bank account is still open, you just withdraw. If not, they can send a check to the name and address on file. If you can retrieve that mail, the other issue is easy to surmount.

From what I've known and what others have reported, most of the time, PP returns the money. A couple cases I heard rumors of - they held the funds based on the funds being gained lawful not.

you can add new bank account to the limited account and withdraw funds after 180 days.

I did add a bank account that I will use to withdraw the funds after the 180 days is up.

I only have about 2 weeks to go.


Another thing; I have over $600 in there and I never did lift the $500 withdraw limit.

Will I be able to get the whole $600+ or will I have to just get $500 and wait for another month to get the rest?

99% of the time you get notified the money is there.

As a matter of interest when did you add that bank account? THere have been reports that other users were not able to add the bank account .Will be interesting to have up to date info:peace:

They do release it, they send a check if no bank account is ALREADY on file (this is how it works in Canada). So if you used a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name and address you'll be fooked.

In Canada I managed to add a bank account ONCE after it had been unlocked post-180 days (and it required a phonecall) to get the money, it was about 900$.

Like Green said some people haven`t been able to add a bank account after the limitation, let us know how it works for you.
