Paypal Complain
 

Hi file a complain to BBB because paypal hold my money until 180 days. I sold my iPhone X to eBay then paypal limited my account until 180 days. Is this going to effective? I sold my personal iPhone. Thankyou

People complain to PayPal about them holding money past 180 all the time.

A BBB complaint will likely get your case escalated to the Executive Office, but they are going to demand ID. If you can't verify the account, or they feel you violated the User Agreement, it's game over. You probably won't be getting your money back.

If the account is a stealth account with false details, they won't be able to verify it against a real person. You would go no further as well.

If your account has real details, it will make things better in the sense the account can be verified and your chances of getting your funds back do improve. That said, if PayPal does rule that you violated their UA and they still keep your funds past 180 days, your only other remedy may be a legal one. That may or may not be an option depending on how much money you have tied up there.

BUT why is Paypal withholding his fund for 180 days if his account is fine with real name and he sold his own phone ?
it should be up to 21 days after he uploaded tracking and it shows delivered.
(if $750 or more ,it would need signature confirmation)
Is your Ebay and Paypal account in good standing?
Did you add your Canada SSN ,bank account ?

This is an Ebay transaction,you could call Ebay if you think you have done nothing wrong and see what they can do?????
