eddyg | 08-17-2009 03:01 AM | Help to get around paypal limitation Hi every1,
I did something stupid on eBay (shill bidding) and got suspended for 12 months.
I then made new eBay and PayPal accounts (using made-up names:shocked:) using the Stealth Guide and everything was fine until my PayPal account got limited for having too much money going through it and obviously I couldn't confirm my details (they wanted photo ID and proof of address etc)..
I told them I couldn't confirm my details because I didn't have a drivers license and proof of address, and this is the reply I got from them: Quote:
Before you will be able to transfer the funds to your bank
account, the limitation will need to be removed from your PayPal
account.
To resolve the limitation, you can provide a photo ID and a document
that shows proof of address for the address on your PayPal account. The
proof of address document can be any of the following:
- Drivers Licence
- Tax statement or Notice from the Australian Tax Office
- Valid Proof of Age (Photo) Card
- Any other notice from the Commonwealth, State or Territory
If you do not have the above documents available, we will also accept
the following:
- An official Bank or credit card statement issued by your bank.
You can fax or upload the requested documents through the Resolution
Centre of your account.
| Well I can't get an official bank statement since the name on my PayPal account is made-up.. The credit card that is attached to the account is an Entropay one.. Can I show them an EntroPay statement with the made-up name on it?
If not, what other sort of ID can I get (with the made-up name) that they will accept? I just want to get my money back and then never use PayPal again!
Thanks alot ey
