"Soft" Limit Help
 

So I use paypal because most of my clients use it and it makes everything alot more smooth, but as we know paypal isn't always on our side. With that being said I had 3 payments, 120$, 200$, and 150$. They were all send to me within 30 minutes, all three clients sent via friends and family, which I prefer however we know this flags paypals system. I tried to buy something on Ebay for 250$ and I got an error "this payment cannot be used" I was like well okay, let me try and send a test payment of 10 bucks to a friend and it didn't work, I got the notorious "We're sorry, but we can't send your payment right now". I did my research and found out my situation is called a soft limit. Any tips on what I should do? Such as call or wait it off. Thank you!

How old is this account?

Aside from those 3 F&F payments, what other transaction history, if any exists on this account?

Those F&F payments all made within such a small time window are reason enough for concern to PayPal as they would be deemed rather suspicious.

A few 100-175$ sales within the past 60 days, and lots of 15-50$ sales. The account is fairly new (2months) but when I just thought consistent higher sales would help the age factor. Also yeah 450$ in 30 minutes was a bad timing thing. Eh

Also you can thank a damn Chinese pop up site for dropping a language cookie 🍪 and making my PayPal Chinese smh the setting on my account says it’s in English but it’s clearly not, I’ve tried clearing cookies but it’s on all my devices and IPs. So if you know how to fix that too that be awesome 😂

PS, Tanner, PayPal like accounts to have some security. Your issue will be finding what will work. Not sure if you would have luck with a VBA. They are out of favor. :deadhorse:

your account is new thats the reason.try after 48 hours,always use same browser and same ip .make small small payments

The point is he cannot use paypal balance to send money or buy anything. Standard procedures now with Paypal.
