Paypal perm limited, another account not limited, ebay :s
 

Hello everyone I have a bit of a hairy situation here.

I had a paypal account that was permanently limited after a buyer returned a $800 item, once it was returned my account became locked, the account had a paypal credit balance of -$3000, and I think it had a credit card associated with it, I had lost the credit card so ordered a new one so there are no cards linked to that paypal.

Now paypal credit is asking for pay and this paypal account no longer works, I messaged them and asked why was it limited and they said they reviewed it and decided to keep it limited.

I have another older paypal account that is directly linked to my bank account and that one works fine somehow and i have used it since. The older account has my SSN, newer account has it in paypal credit.

1- what would happen if I dont pay pp credit?

2- what would happen if i link my old pp with my ebay and what other options would I have to use ebay

recently my ebay got suspended too for not paying fees

All your paypal accounts will eventually get limited, locked and you'll get permanently banned from paypal (can't use the same name or address or credentials).

One account gets shut down...they all do.

They'll also send the outstanding balance to collections which will be reported to the credit agencies if you don't pay up.

PayPal Credit is totally separate from PayPal itself. It's actually a revolving loan account from Synchrony Bank (formerly Comenity).

If you don't pay them back, it will adversely affect your credit rating, and you will have debt collectors hounding you.

his Ebay account is also suspended for not paying his fee.
He said he has 3k credit in his paypal account,does he mean 3k in debit?
if he has 3k credit,then after refunding his $800 return,he should have 2200 credit balance to spend,why would Paypal suspend his account?
what is wrong with the $800 return,did the buyer return an empty box or you just dont want to issue a return?

If you manage to pay your Ebay fee and get your Ebay account back,and you said it was linked to the bad Paypal account,then if you link the other Paypal account to this Ebay account,Paypal will know the two Paypal accounts are linked.
How do you plan to pay your Ebay fee?
There are ways Paypal can recover its loss !
