Proxys and paypal

from someone whos been doing paypal for awhile now. I have learned the hard way. But I just wanted to give back to the community and tell you all. IF YOU ARE USING A PROXY AND YOUR PAYPAL GETS LIMITED SPECIALLY THE HARDCORE ONES DONT EVEN BOTHER UPLOADING DOCS they will simply ban you for life just having a proxy IP. ok your welcome.

Of course, this is NOT 100%. It largely depends on WHAT proxy you use.

The problem with proxies is people very often use a cheap one, then assume all proxies are the same when they have problems.

Some of the better quality ones are based on Residential or Mobile networks, so as far as PayPal or eBay is concerned, they are unlikely to even know you are using a proxy in the first place.

I believe you should specifically mention that DO NOT USE DATACENTER IPs, may it be proxies or VPNs.

Meh.. the jury's still out on that one. The owner of the forum selling DC IP's doesn't help to clarify things.

I still maintain that if you're able to fly under the radar with eB/PP you can get by with DC IP's. I'm still using 24vc on all the same accounts I've been running for years now. Granted, they're old accounts, so maybe that's why.

I have 8 paypals and all of them use private proxies, I've never had a problem.

It's not true that you cannot used data center IP's, if it were, companies like IP burger and 24vc (available on this forum) would be out of business. Data-center VPN's have been hit or miss with me. It's really a roll of the dice as every IP has been used and re-used over the years. Same goes for phone numbers, addresses, etc.

I just tether from cell phones. Never looked back. Use three different providers
