PayPal Limited Advice

I recently took a 2 month break from selling on ebay and started getting a lot of sales through PayPal upon resuming. I logged into my PayPal today to notice my PayPal had been limited.

How long will it take PayPal to unlimit my account? I need these funds to place order which they are asking for.

you could be in a catch 22 situation, you need the money to buy the stuff ,but Paypal wont release your money until 3-21 days after tracking shows delivered.
nothing anyone can do for you here, call Paypal.

Make a call to PayPal, were you limited for 3-21 days or 180 days? See what the problem is first then if you're forced to wait just wait. Never keep a huge amount of money in your PayPal account again.

From the post it sounds like the account is limited meaning the account is useless at this point.
Might be able to save the account and get those funds if youre able to give them what theyre asking for to appeal this limitation.
So... what are they asking for?

Is it a soft limit? Or is it a 180 day limitation and you get an email with them saying they don't want your business anymore?

how much went through the account? Did you change what you were selling?

I took a 2 month break from selling and started to sell again. When I logged into my account, I received a notice saying they account was limited due to questionable business practices. They wanted invoices, ID, and bank information.

If they ask for bank information it has been limited for using a proxy. They ask a random combination of bank statement, proof of adress, trackings, creditcard statements. But this is not a serious restriction. I had that one once and they removed it after i send them a mail that it is an old creditcard (they asked for creditcard statement and ID)

If the ask for ID, trackings, Paymentinformation and invoice it is a check which every account gets sooner or later

yeah why did they say “questionable business practices?” Is this a generic response by them? Anyways, this account has done high volume in the past and I get PayPal working capital loans. This is a real account with my SSN,

I also do not use proxies

yeah you should not pay to much attention what they writte. it is bull**** in most of the cases. Sometimes they change "recent changes in your activity". It can also come on an old account.
But if it is your real account you should not have problems to provide them the documents they want

Sounds like a sale velocity issue? Stopping and starting? Thanks for your input

burbur 10-11-2019 05:44 AM

Re: PayPal Limited Advice

Paypal is very random with those. so it doesnt even have to have a reason

futbolplayer 10-11-2019 05:46 AM

Re: PayPal Limited Advice

Yeah, anyways, I chatted them via live chat and they removed it without me submitting docs.

Re: PayPal Limited Advice

that's normal if they think you are using a proxy. no serius restricion which can be removed without docs.

I think they just do not like your IP
