Stealth 24k USD - Paypal Playing Games
 

Hello all,

I am nearing the 180 day limit on my account. I am yet to receive any email.

However, I have phoned Paypal in numerous times and got conflicting responses. Some are saying my funds will be released, some are saying they are not unless I provide relevant documents. They said they couldn't "match" my passport.

What's my solution? Wait for 180 days ? Does it always get released?

Or start legal action ?

Stealth.

I spoke to them and they said they would release it. Another staff member said they need my driving license which I told them I dont have because I dont drive.

Funny this is. Earlier this year I had another stealth Spanish account and they released 10k euros with the stealth Id

Maybe the threat of legal action will force them to move back

24k without ID ? no chance.

Expect a long battle. They will claim that money for themselves based on all the threads I have been reading.

Under their "acceptable use or damage policy" or something.

I would find a solicitor that knows about paypal right now and have him ready.

I did submit ID, some of their staff members said it was accepted and my money would be released. Some other staff members said it wouldn't.

I got 10k euros - about 12k - released this year with a stealth ID.

In any case, I have spoken to a lawyer and they said the burden of proof is on them to prove your account is ⊗⊗⊗⊗. Simply saying your ID didn't match isn't enough.

180 days some time you don't receive an email and sometimes you do.


Umm.....I don't know why people are saying you won't get your funds. Unless your UK unless it has something to due with the amount.


But yeah in most cases at least for me when its 180 days if I don't receive the e-mail I have to call and often times speak to several different agents. No body know's what the hell their talking about over there. A lot of times an agent has to enable it for you to withdraw because the system still see's it as not being over 180 days or still locked or whatever. I've never had such a large amount locked in my PP account the most I've ever had is 7k or 8k. I normally don't need documents either and you shouldn't either imo....

Also you always hear more about the cases of funds not being able to withdraw within 180 days and less about the cases THAT ARE ABLE to withdraw within 180 days because nobody is going to come on here to complain about receiving their money.

I think your chances are 50/50 (maybe better) unless you were selling CBD. If you were selling CBD they will probably keep your money. For sellers not selling anything in the marijuana industry, I've seen it go both ways. The posts saying "no way without real ID" are fearmongering for no reason and without any real justification. Icykid is right when he says we only hear the bad stories here because people who successfully withdraw tend to just go away from the forum. More often than not, the money ends up being released after some foot work. Good luck.

Only way to take the money out after 6 months is with proof of identity and a bank account to withdraw or a different paypal account to transfer it to.

If PayPal could hold anybody's money then they would have an incentive to simply deny everybody's ID.

All they really have is a duty to make an initial check.

I was not selling anything illegal. My service was initially permitted by them and later banned

It's very simple, provide them with what they want and they will give you the money.

Everything they have done including 6 month limitation is to prevent them from any potential losses.

The legal threats you are making to them are a joke since you created the account with stealth details.

I suggest you wait the full 180 days (that could be reason 1 they have not yet released your money)

And if they rejected the document you provided (passport or whatever) means you did a poor photoshop job.

For this kind of money stuck in an account, i suggest you hire a professional for the requested docs, worked for me everytime.

No, paypal does the sending on your behalf.

So they give you two options :

- Withdraw it
- Let THEM transfer it to a different paypal account that you will provide.

I have never heard of your option #2,but if it does allow you to transfer to another account,that account would need to be able to tranfer to a bank,or send payment or buy something.

I am not going to read all the messages but I would wait until at least 180 days from last payment received and see what happens. As of right now, you are speculating and that is not helpful.

In the USA, not doing anything, not submitting anything and just wait for the 180-190 days to go by is normally the best option. In the USA, if you have a bank account attached, getting the funds is fairly easy doing nothing at all.

There is not many AU members posting these days so it is really hard to make an educated guess what will happen until AFTER the 180-190 days go by.

Wait 180 days, try to withdrawn, if they say they want docs send them your REAL docs and tell them you opened the paypal on a wrong name.

If they reufse to pay you the money out or just ignore you like they do in the most cases make a complaint to crc@paypal.com for EU complains or if it is an australian then to auexecutiveescalations@paypal.com. Australia has also a number for escalations:+61 2 8223 9500

If you do not recive an answer within 30 days you can escalte the complaint to the supervisory authority (for australia it is 45 days).

so far i got money from 3 paypals back by providing my real docs after they declined ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ones. I never had to escalte the complain to the autoritys. Only for the first time i did so since paypal ignored my mails. They answered me to writte to paypal escalation department which I did. after 20days they released my funds.

Just DO NOT send them ⊗⊗⊗⊗docs

Also for genereal information since i am expecting a ****storm:
-Yes it is agains paypals terms of use to open an account on a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name.
-No, Paypal is not legaly allowed to steal your many if you do so as long they can verify your identity.

I agree,sending them the real documents and explain why you are using a different name is better than sending ⊗⊗⊗⊗ documents.

I just got 4.5k out of paypal when they KNEW the ID was bad because that was why the account was limited in the first place.

They never asked another ID. I just had to call after 180 days and they unlocked my account.

Unless you are selling bad goods, or restricted goods, I really don't think there should be any issue.

180 days is for cc chargeback,if one is selling counterfeit,it could be forever!

if you tell Paypal you open this account with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ID and now you want your money by presenting your real ID,how does Paypal know if you are the real owner of the account?

In EU they are not allowed by law to withdraw your money as long they can not verify your identity. So in EU it would not work. But i am not sure how it is in australia (OP is from australia)
