New type of limitation on Paypal?

We seem to be missing some information to verify your identity. To keep your account secure, we've limited certain features in your account. You'll need to provide the requested information to regain full access.


I had not seen this particular wording before. They want a photo ID. If you're unable to submit the required information by Feb 19, 2020 or if we notice additional changes in your account activity, your access will be further limited.

Account has over 4K in revenue since Dec 4th with around 30-40 sales. Hit me with a limitation after a sale last night. I'm going to need to make a bunch more account soon, but the process is not near as reliable as before. Sucks

I'm going to start making some accounts under my real name, but change up most other stuff. Hoping to be able to sell a lot more volume that way.

Can't withdraw money, hoping to keep earning a bit more, then pull all my money out at once with crappy ID. It has worked in the past for me.

Theres no guarantee the ID will work to remove the limitation which means youll have to wait 180 days - and even then theres always the possibility they wont release the funds.
I wouldn't risk any further activity on it before this issue is resolved - and I certainly wouldn't be leaving $4k in a paypal account.

I clear the account as often as I can, but some money gets held until items show delivery.
