Anyone have experience with this? They are asking for documents.

Can I call them to resolve instead?

I use a different name for a mailing address on a credit card linked to my Paypal. They are asking for documents related to this.

Do you know what my situation is? I have a credit card linked to my Paypal which I rarely if ever have used. The name that I use for the mailing address on that card is made up. Isn't that still legal if I live at that address and my real full name is on the credit card account and statements, etc.?

AVS does not check name so how does it know it is different??

Paypal is asking for documents due to the credit card you used,so there must be something about your credit card which does not agree with the rest of the information you provided?
you have a stealth account in a stealth name,but your card has your name and address.

Is the different name you use a made up name? If I were to provide them with the credit card statement and ID it would have my real name. They are asking specifically about the made up name, see below:

• A copy of a valid government-issued photo ID showing "made-up name" date
of birth, such as their driver's license or passport. Please make the copy
as large and as light as possible.

• A proof of address document to confirm that "made-up name" resides at the address registered on your PayPal account. We will accept a utility bill,
mobile phone bill or any other official document that confirms "made-up name"
lives at the address listed on your PayPal account. The document provided
must be dated within 90 days of this request. Please note that
government-issued photo identification will not also be accepted as proof
of address documentation.
