eBay Suspended & PayPal Limited Forums - Receiving money from friends?

plenty of people use Paypal friend and family to send money to relatives and friends,elderly parents who need money to buy food and medicine when SS check runs out,folks who share a meal,parents helping children who are stranded somewhere?
as long as it is not a huge amount and it is coming from an established Paypal account in good standing,what they dont like is fee avoidance and money laundering

Sounds like it'll be ok at least for a while. I'm a little paranoid, because people tend to abuse this and PP really hates not getting their cut.

If you have other method to receiving money I'd recommend it, like a bank transfer or check.

I buy items for the friend in the other country and send the items to them, and they send money as a way to pay me back for the items. Is that acceptable?

why cant they use their own paypal account and pay for the item?
If you keep doing this,PAYPAL could look into it ,are they using their credit card or Paypal balance?

Hello! I'm not sure if I posted this in the correct area. I'm located in the USA and I just received limited access to my PayPal account. PayPal is asking me to "Explain Activity on my account". I've never received such a notification before. I haven't been working for the past 3 months due to a rare autoimmune disease I've been fighting. My close friend friend who is based in the UK has been sending me money when he is able in different amount. PayPal is also asking me to provide "Proof of Fulfillment" and provide a "Purchase Receipt"?? Huh? I'm not sure how to do that? Is it really any of PayPal's business? In the US we have HIPPA laws against medical disclosures. Any guidance would be most appreciated! Thank you!!!!

is your friend sending under goods and services OR friend and family?
if goods and services,Paypal would like to see some proof you have shipped the item.
