Paypal asking 4 tracking infos!

Hello,
I just got my Paypal account limited, and they are asking for tracking informations for 4 transations+Verify Credit Card.
This Paypal account is about 6 months old, and it's linked to my Ebay Account (6 months old and 135 positive feedback 100% Positive)

I verified the Credit Card and that works fine. But concerning tracking information I put that It's IMPOSSIBLE to GIVE. This is because the 4 transactions are for selling EBOOKS, the payments was something like $0.45, $1,99, ...etc) So it's just normal that I do not have tracking for this.
I wrote a letter to Paypal telling them that I can not proide tracking informations as the items have too low value, and was posted through Post letter parcels without tracking numebr. I do not have to pay $10 to get a tracking number while the item cost $0,5 !

Do you think that my Paypal account will be released as I explain this to them or they'll keep it retricted?

Just to let you know, I recieved a $1450 payment yesterday, but the funny thing is that they're not asking for tracking informations for this transaction.

Your help will be very appreciated. Sorry if my english language is not good one.

Kind regards

I would call them to sort out the problem. That would be so much easier.

Thanks for your reply. The problem is that I'm using a #### infos, the phone number I used to open my PP account is not working anymore.
Is it wise to call them from a different phone then the one registred with PP?
Many thanks for your help in advance
Regards

Sure...as long as the phone number is not associated with any other accounts.

suza,

As both philly & TGMT said, phone paypal. Make sure that you use a phone number not used B4 on ebay/paypal. Take that opportunity to give paypal your new contact details.
Make sure you have your password, secret question & any info to prove you are the account holder. Be polite & be professional as you deal with them :peace:

Thanks a lot. I moved last week, so got new phone number, but bad news, I used the new phone number to verify an other Ebay account JUST THIS EVENING:doh:
Never mind, I'll go, and use friend's home phone number or a public phone. Is it safe to use a public phone to call them?

Vicvelcro 09-14-2009 04:10 AM

Is it likely that some other user has used that public phone previously? If so, don't use it. I wouldn't use a friend's phone either, because your friend might want to make an account some day. If the number is used by you, your friend will have trouble making an account and you would lose the account that matches that number. Double whammy.

In the future, when you sell a virtual item like an ebook, send a thank you letter to the person's address by regular mail with a tracking number. That way if you are asked again for a tracking number, you can provide one.

Ok, thank Vic.
So I'll find a way to call them and will leave a feedback as soon as I'll have updated news.
I really appreciate your help in my topic and all over the forums.
Keep up the nice job guys!

if all else fails, why not send an envelope to each of the buyers with delivery confirmation, then input those DC into paypal.

Vicvelcro 09-14-2009 10:24 AM

PP checks the dates on DC numbers. If they see the issue date is significantly AFTER the items were sold, they'll consider it suspicious and likely give the 180 dear john letter.

Hello everyone.
GOOD NEWS! My PP account access was restored today:thumb:
I called them from my stepmother phone (She is 78 years old, there is less chances that she open an Ebay/PP account then to participate to the next Olympic games :p ). A couple of hour after that I recieved the BEAUTIFUL Email from PP giving me my account back.

During the phone conversation I didn't have to add any further infos but the same I elaborate within the Email I sent to them obviously (Telling that I cant get tracking numbers for items sold at less then $1, as it was shipped through standard post letter. Also, most of the transactions have recieve positive feedback as the item was delivred)

The real fact is that items was delivred through EMail, but PP don't need to know this :p

Once again, thanks for all your responses and your support, Really appreciate this.

Regards

Just FYI, if someone reported you selling e-stuffs, eBay will probably take them down and send you M018 msg (expires 30 days). Then the new listings offering digital items need to be listed as a Classified Ad under the "Information Products" category unless you want to get another hit.

That's interesting blue, because a few days ago I was browsing for cheap stuff to buy to get 5+ feedback on an account (always in the 5-15$ range), stuff I actually needed. It was a game code for a game. PS seller, 1000+ feedback. Listed in PC games.

It was delivered digitally (it was free anyway). I was surprised but left feedback afterward anyway!

I expect he or she just hasn't bee caught yet?
