Withdraw from US paypal
 

Hello,

I stumbled over one of my old paypal accounts.

There is a balance of 243$ and ready to withdraw.. for 8 years now.

Since I cant get rid of the limitation
the only way to get my money is via US Bank, checke or paypal cash.

I live in germany...

Is there way around at the moment?
I tried Transferwise but couldnt add the Bank account.

Anything else?

A verified real US bank account has been the only way to withdrawal funds for over a year now. A checke can be sent to the name and address on file (from 8 years ago) and probably require you to submit ID and documents to get them to even mail one. ( it's been 8 years)
The option of opening a PayPal cash account requires a US SSN, US address and it must match information on your PayPal account.
Bottom line: You're probably never going to be able to get this money back, so it's best to abandon it. Luckily it's a small amount.
