Acount Limited - Paypal wants to verify ID for Debit Mastercard I Never signed up for
 

Strange message I received from Paypal today. Told me they couldn't verify my identification for the Paypal Debit Mastercard application I filled out. Want copy of ID and SSN. Funny thing is that I never did fill out the application. According to them my account is limited but I am still able to accept money, withdrawal, etc. Nothing is crossed out and no mention of my account will be further limited for certain activities in the future if I don't send them the information.

I thought maybe my account was compromised so I went ahead and changed all my passwords.

Anyone else run into this issue before?

Might be a glitch or might be a generic message of a limitation since they had nothing better to hit you with.
might want to call them up to clear this up.
