Does paypal ban a SSN for life? or is there a specific amount of time?
 

I have a PayPal acct that got banned like 15 years ago.
I have a new PayPal acct now and used for about half a years w/o a problem.(purchase only)

i want to know, if i put my ssn in will it get ban again? because i got some refund from a seller but in order to accept those fund. i need to add my SSN.

any advise? Thanks.

Yes you will get linked to that old suspended account. There is no time limit on the info paypal maintains - They never delete such info.

your flag said HK,but you must have a US paypal account for Paypal to ask for SSN?
Paypal never remove or delete any account.open,closed or suspended.

OP, listen to slokor about reusing old info - PP can easily link this info causing you problems

Well you CAN put in an old SSN to get your money out, but the first time something unusual pops up you will be banned forthwith. Mine lasted 5 months.

like one of those ssn suspension scam came true. ONLY IN PAYPAL.
