Here is what it shows on my Paypal account-

"Your account access is temporarily limited
We noticed some significant changes to your account activity. To understand this better, we will require some information from you.

In an effort to keep your account secure, we've also limited certain features in your account. You'll be able to regain access to these features once you provide the information we've requested.
If you're unable to submit the required information by May 7, 2020 or if we notice additional changes in your account activity, your access will be further limited."

END

It's not I've never known of Paypal to do anything like this before. They are asking for a photo ID and receipts from suppliers, even though it's not a business account. Most of my transactions on this account are purchases. This account sells no more than $500-600 per month, so why would this happen? It says that, "We noticed some significant changes to your account activity" but I don't know what they could be referring to. I can't touch the $$$ that I have in my balance or even make purchases whatsoever. Thoughts?

What was your recent activities that you think might triggered this limitation?
Also, did they mention the specific transactions they needed the invoices for?

So you haven't sold any high ticket items and you have been consistent with your activities?

If that's the case then it's just PP being PP.
Whether it's a business or a personal act, they can always ask for those documents.

Worse comes to worst you have your bank account attached still and you'll withdraw the funds after 180 days

Same case here, they asked me for ID photo, after I tried to send money to another Paypal account.

most messages are canned messages,like in your case-unusual activities?
Many have lost jobs ,many retailers have no sales and want to sell online,Paypal is just being cautius

What are response times for PayPal reviewing documents (ID, business licenses, etc)

did you link anything with any previous account
or any shared cookies?

maybe a dodgy buyer caused it

I had the same thing happen with the account being "Temporarily Limited". I gave them the info but you cannot talk with anyone right now because of Covid19! They have my money but I cannot access it at all! I'm furious that they cannot even answer the phone or reply back to messages!

not much you can do just be patient.
It is not just Ebay but your phone co,ISP provider,electric,gas companies,they are working from home,you hear baby crying,children shrieking,.

I'm having this for a second time. First time I upload the requested documents and the limit was lifted afther 2 days. A month later same limitation came up to my acc againg and wondering what could be the reason for this?

I have the same but they did not ask for receipts, they just asked for information about the payment (a type box)... what should I tell them?

I received this few days ago they asked me for ID, suppler and few transactions after I submit my ID and I try to explain that my items are digital I don’t have any supplier so I told them the items are personal I just got banned at least I was able to widraw some money.

They want to know this:A detailed description of the items you've sold.
How you ship your products including information on delays.
Any information on the products you sell and how you sell them.

Maybe I can say that its money from my eBay store, its legal product (lego), i use fedex for shipping (i will include tracking numbers for the orders) and I will also include eBay order number... What do you think?

I sell different products. But lego is the product that they are asking for information. (probably because the price is higher)
