| | | | | latting | 09-29-2009 09:36 AM | paypal ignore all email, what u think? Got my steath paypal account limited last week. Faxed all required routine documents(DL, invoice etc) to them on Last Thursday and they confirmed the receipt the same evening. I then sent 3 emails to them by now, wanderring the progress of my reinstatement. They basically ignored all queries with no response to email and no updates in the pp resolution Centre.
And I am not native speaker so can really ring them to ask on behalf on my steath Mr. Native.
The situation is that I did not send the goods(about 80 packets) out on last Tuesday when I found out my PP was limited. As I didn't want to risk my money hold 180 days while all goods out. Meanwhile, however, this PP is very important for me as it's the only working one for myself.
I am a bit fraustrated and need to make the dicision now:
1. leave it and many buyers will soon claim non-receipt from PP so my account should just gone with no doubt then.
2. Sent all goods out now, waiting for the sentence from PP. My friend told me it's optimistic as if they reject you, they normally do it very quickly next day. But I really want to hear from everyone's experience how likely they will give my account back? Why they don't reply me what are they doing at the moment?:doh::doh: |
| ILovePaypalNOT | 09-29-2009 10:28 AM | Did they request you provide proof of delievery on the items that have not yet been shipped? That is Most likley what they are waiting on , to get delivery confirmation, and even then , its still 50/50 whether you get it back.
No way I would ship out anything after my account had been limited ... Been burned there before, but I suppose you should weigh the value of the merchandise against the value of "possibly" getting the limit removed... |
| latting | 09-29-2009 10:44 AM | I refuned all the transactions that they required the proof of delivery. Then a small green tick attached, I assume this is ok.
I really have no idea of the value of "possibility of lift". No similar experience before. Just heard they are very good at looking DL now, are they? not sure if my is creative enough.. |

You need to figure out a way to get on the phone with them, isnt there someone who could help you? Just so you dont have to sit around wondering any longer? Theres no telling how long you will sit and wonder... |
| oompaloompa | 09-29-2009 02:08 PM | no, they dont let you know next day if you will be limited permenantly, it can last for ages, in fact the more they ignore you the more I think they wont unlimit you....
are you actually in UK, is the limitation due to them being suspicious of your country whereabouts? What is the reason otherwise for limitation..what triggered it.... |
| latting | 09-29-2009 03:30 PM | Yes, OP, I am based in the UK. I think the reason is just the routine check that everyone of us suffering from PP now. The time when it's limited, I have been receiving more thank 10k, I think the volume is the reason they stopped me, requireing ID, invoice, suppplier contacts, blah, blah.
Yes, I sell vero items. This is no good. but I think it's still the volume that triggered the limitation.
OP, if you dont' mind can I pm you about DL so you can advise better if it will be satisfacotry by them? |
| oompaloompa | 09-29-2009 03:55 PM | ok.
