MONZO want me to record video of my face?!
 
This normal??
I ma not one for putting my face online or giving it to any banking organisation. Photo ID i can understand but video footage really?

It's normal. It's how they verify you in less than 5 mins. Whats the issue unless you are using a ****name. If that's the case, don't.

I have asked this before but did not get a reply. I use correct detail for this bank but different details for PP yes?

Definitely use your real name for any UK bank account. The name you use on PP is up to you, but it must match your ebay acct

Oef... won't they just take your ID?
Sounds fishy that they want your real live video to identify you for a bank

I seen couple banks who asking video or selfy. To make sure you are the real person

Don’t do it I opened a bank with iCard myself and they wanted the same so just deleted the app out. I was going to use it for vccs for PayPal and then I found this out so just removed the app.

I use Stripe payment processor in the USA and 2 out of 3 of my business accounts had this requirement. It is becoming and more and more common across the world these days.
