Fund available for withdrawal but password reset by PayPal
 

After waiting for 180 days, I received an email from PayPal notifying me that I can now withdraw the fund in my permanently limited account. However, PayPal reset my password a few months back even though I never attempted to sign in during that time.

When I try to log in, I'm prompted to reset the password. I can receive a verification code sent to my email, but not a second code to my phone since the number is no longer in service.

I've chatted with support and the outsourced one is incompetent and kept giving me canned response. She sent me back to phone support whose automated system sent me to chat support in the first place.

How can I reset the password to request a withdrawal without access to the phone number?

Very strange...
But probably the only option is to contact support if you no longer have phone access and phone access is needed when logging in.

Best is to call them and you shoulb be able to proceed in next 48h after call

Contact support again and hope for better agent it seems
