Paypal 10k limit
 

Hey guys I run a non stealth digital sales busness . Fully licenced with a EIN and LLC . Been open for sales for just about a month so far and things are going well in terms to growth of sales .

For a bit if background this account is over 2 years old but has never had this volume through it but the LLC info / EIN has never changed.

Last month I got an email saying that all orders over 10k would be placed on hold for 21 days unless I submitted shipping info. Since all my products are deliverd via email once payment clears this is not an option for me .

I submitted a request for it to be increased to 20k but was denied .

Further more a week ago I was placed on a hold that limited withdrawals and sending of funds untill I provided ID , busness information , proof of fulfillment and purchase receipts, I was able to get that limit removed very fast and only took about 40 hours after I submitted it to be removed .

I am still being limited by having any sales over 10k being placed on a hold for 21 days unless the buyer confirms they received there good and frankly almost no one does that .

My question is how long does it take on average to get this limit increased? And is there a better way to get it done then just requesting an increase via there form ? Should I contact suport ? Call in ?

some would send a first class envelope with tracking .with copy of what you sold

I never even thought of that , just send a physical copy of the email along with the digital email ..

That is a good temporary solution but long term not ideal .
I'm just wondering how long i should expect this 10k limit .

What kind of digital item costs more than $10,000? wtf

But yes... send them a tracked package so you can upload the numbers.

No no lots of items And have just hit the limit due to lots of transactions

So your saying that the TOTAL sales of the month anything over 10k is held. Like others have suggested you just send an envelope with tracking via USPS first class mail and the problem will be resolved for you. Digital delivery of products they view as a higher risk so there is no surprise they have placed this type of restriction on your account.

Our average sales is 78$ but we have things from 7$ - 900$

I used to sell digital Pokemon cards. Each would include a random holo card sent first class so I'd have tracking.
