Does paypal send Negative balance reminder emails?

Does paypal email accounts of any country a reminder to pay a negative balance?

backstory: I closed my paypal account. 1 week later, I got chargeback but never received a negative balance email. I live in NZ (small country) but I had a stealth account in AUS which got an email for negative balance (this one wasnt closed before the negative balance)

PP has been know to send out e-mails like this but many times it seems that PP will do auto-withdrawal from the bank on file to resolve a balance...if that fails, reminder is sent OR limitation occurs with that e-mail sent

Oh. cos its been roughly 2 months and i havent received an email about a negative balance even though ive received chargeback emails from paypal. (account manually closed already)

And no money has been taken from my acc too

Hmm maybe system hasn't picked up on it...kind of a fluke to be honest I'd say - consider yourself "lucky"

you wont get email for that unless the amount is big and they pass it to their debt collertor
