Paypal "gift" payment problems

Hey. Is there a heightened risk of limitation, if I receive payments as paypal "gift" payments instead of normal payments for goods? A lot of the people that I sell to don't really care how they send the money as long as they get their item as they should. I've just been hesitant to ask them to send "gift" payments, because it seems like something paypal would red flag.

Also, if anyone has received multiple gift payments, is there a limit to how much should be sent/received like that? For example, will a $350 gift payment raise suspicion? If gift payments aren't that risky, I might be able to slash the money I lose to fees to almost nothing =) Thanks for any info.

I won't be accepting a lot of "gift" transactions, I would advice not to use them at all, especially if you have normal transactions (with transaction costs) receiving at the same account.

I have multiple stealth accounts, and did receive some 'gift' transactions, when the option 'gift' transaction was first made available on gaypal. I used it to receive a couple of payments, a couple of days later my Gaypal was limited.

I had to supply all info (ID, proof of Address, supplier info, proof of delivery etc.). I even had to provide proof of delivery for the transactions that were sent as gift.

I do think that Gaypal has inserted the 'gift' transaction just to monitor the accounts better. To see if some accounts are 'high risk' or even linked with each other etc.
