Been bout 4 months of an account being in debt. Still not banned
 

So basically, 4 months ago i deleted/ closed my paypal account (manually by me). After I had already closed it, my account was chargeback so its is obvious its in debt or negative balance.

I have been using another account which was in the same ip as that previous closed account. I havent been banned/ limited once since.

Am I safe? given that their system is automatic, if it hasnt picked it up already, will it ever pick it up.

I suggest changing your IP now.

Paypal did not ban your account.you closed it and now there is a negative balance.
Did you get an email from Paypal that you have a chargeback?

He has closed his account,I doubt he can still access it.

I'm sure PayPal gave him a way to pay his balance though

They never have any reason to not accept any money =)

basically you are linked in their system they can find you easily
just try not to take too much payment in your new account go really slow and try your luck

I reopened the account by creating using the same email. (i genuinely wanted to pay) And told them i had a negative balance with an acc associated with this email, they emailed back saying they thoroughly checked and nothing was to be concerned of

was not a spoof email btw, i had a legit chargeback

yes it odd but once your new account is limited they would ask you to pay the negative bal in old account

A tiny blemish in the infinite funds that paypal has. Not even worth talking about to be honest.

It happened ONCE you closed your account ... it would have been different if the account was still active.

Possible it will pick up later - never 100% safe. Registration info - same or completely different?
