Am I Safe?
 

okay guys i created two stealth accounts each under separate window user accounts also..... I was logged into my user account with the second stealths ip address...... I then switched over to my first one stealth account under the new user but didn't log into the paypal or ebay.. I changed the ip address again then logged into them? Will I be Safe.... will my paypal get limited from the ip change??? I'm pretty sure I'am safe but just want to make sure lol

If you did not actually log in to ebay or paypal from the wrong IP, you are fine.

I did something similar to this also. I was already logged into ebay so what I did was change the IP when I should've logged out before I changed IP so instead what I did was go to ebay.c0m and I was still logged in. I was dying of paranoia and sadness the same night or 2 before common sense started telling me that no information was going IN to eBay since I didn't log-IN or log-OUT.

Anyone know for sure if this is true? This might have been true back in the old days, but isn't it likely now that even seemingly static pages on Ebay or Amazon are actually polling your cookies and/or IP address in the background every x minutes without any action on your part at all?

I've wondered about this myself, having accidentally forgot to close a logged-in Ebay tab in my browser while using the "wrong" IP address.

Any thoughts?
