Can I withdraw now?
 

I got permanently limited around March 24, 2021 and today I went back to my Paypal and I was wondering if I was able to withdraw now. When I press transfer money, it prompts up a screen where I am able to enter the amount I want to transfer. Does this mean I am able to transfer out my funds now? I need to add a new bank to deposit so I don't want to do anything before confirming I am indeed able to transfer out the money. I did try adding a prepaid debit card just to test a little bit, however and gave me an error.

Seems like you can transfer the money out - the problem might be how to add your bank account on...what error did you get?

it has to be either a bank account or a bank debit card

why is your account limited?
if it is AUP,Paypal will keep the money .
if the fund is available to withdraw after 180 days,Paypal should send you an email.But it does not always do so

You're going to have a hard time adding a new bank account.

Yea it was AUP. The thing is, wouldn't they have already removed all my money since its been over 180d?

Also I have around $14k in the account. Will there be any issues with the bank if I am able to add and deposit the money?

US members can also ask for a check mailed to your registered address,but if this is stealth account,then???

with AUP violation,it will tell you it is keeping your money when you try to withdraw

I just transfered $1 to another bank I had attached and I believe it worked. Should I attempt adding my other bank and depositing now? If so, how would I go about transfer $14k out of my paypal?

Also I'm not fully sure if the transfer went through. I chose instant, but it says pending currently.

The issue is I just made a random E-trade account to verify my paypal acc and the actions are "restricted" because I didn't fully verify the etrade acc

But does the fact that they even allowed me to process/access the transfer means that I get to keep and transfer my funds?

Pending currently hmmm e-trade accounts have been problematic in the past

The e-trade acc was just to test if I could actually transfer. I think it went through, but got refunded since the etrade acc wasnt fully verified. If Paypal were to take my funds, would they even let me attempt to transfer the funds? Since they did let me, I think that means I am able to transfer. The issue now is how to deposit the $14k into another bank. I heard about a $10k limit for depositing money into banks and I'm not really sure what to do.

Also the taxes for the $ haven't been paid yet since I haven't withdrawn it yet.
Do i need to pay them now or later when I deposit it into a bank? One of my friends said after i deposit it, but i'm not completely sure.

They do record your sales and will send 1099 so if I were you just take the money out asap and get ready to pay the taxes.
