180 days has passed, no email from PayPal. help!
 
Closed my stealth account on 01 March 2021. It has been over 180 Days and still no email from PayPal to get my money back.
Many messages were sent but only the response was "The decision to close the account is permanent and the money will be released after 180 days"

Name, id and all that OOOO stealth
Do I need to call paypal and what questions will they ask?

1.I can access my account, the money still there, PayPal balance available
2.bank ACC already attached
3.Haven't called paypal yet
4.I submitted ID on March 1st this year and then my account was closed, but now paypal is asking me to provide ID details again
This seems to be a cycle
I didn't know what questions they would ask and I needed to prepare some information to answer.

If they havnt sent the email you should give them a call. Not like it could hurt at this point.

2. Do you have a bank ACC already attached to it?
3. Have you tried calling PP?

Just give them a call - they will ask pretty basic questions about your account then usually release it.

If I were you I'd call them in the next day or 2 and ask them to release the funds to your already attached bank account.

They'll verify you with the info in the account

At first, they will ask you:"Did you received the message from PayPal that you now available to withdraw your money after 180days?" The next one - they will check correspondence with you. Then if the system shows 180days hold is left they will inform you and ask if the Bank account for withdrawals already added? If everything is okay and your account don`t have any "red flags" about suspicious activity- they will let you to withdraw your funds. If not- they`ll give you few questions from public records(something like - With which following addresses did you attended before?/ Are you familiar with one of this persons?/ about vehicles..etc.) If you will give 2/3 answers they will let you to withdraw your funds.

Same on me. They hold $20k but no release after 180days. I called paypal everyday but no solutions. What should i do guys :(

I have contacted them by email then i could withdraw 1 account. Others one still pending.

What did support tell you? They should be able to make adjustments on the account to enable withdrawal.

Now paypal for many accounts does not allow withdrawing funds even if 180 days have passed, they will check the account for the legality of receiving funds. Paypal takes most of the money for itself, because there are a lot of scams,and then you can't prove that it was really your money.

too much time have past for OP suspension,Paypal needs to know if you are the righful account owner.
if the bank account has been linked before suspension,you would have an easier time to withdraw your money.
If AUP,you may say goodbye to your money

I have also same issue, if you have proof about your money legality, then u can complain about this. Last time paypal reply in my complain and all explain why they don't send email about withdraw.

First write in paypal, and tell me about 180 days and wait reply.
You can write via PM on account, maybe they ask send documents because your account restriction, and you need remove restriction first. But sometimes they don't send email because money they were not obtained in a clean way. Then many often begin to write complaints through the BBB and others. But this doesn't help them, because there they only describe the reason
