Limited Paypal account needs Passport
 

My account got limited for 180 days about a week ago.
This is the exact message

"Your account is permanently limited
After a review, we've decided to permanently limit your account due to potential risk. You can't conduct any further business using PayPal."

I have $18,000 AUD in there.

They need a passport, but I can't provide one because I registered using a stealth name. I am deciding what to do, I can either

- Do nothing, wait 180 days and hope they don't take my money
- Provide a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ passport/birth certificate (They asked for those two types only, they aren't accepting a drivers license because I already gave them one.)

If I wait 180 days, will they still ask for ID?
I can't give them my real passport, as I registered with a stealth name so I can only make one myself. Do they check the numbers on the passport, or just the name and the face? Also, what will happen if I give them a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ passport and they figure out it's ⊗⊗⊗⊗?

Wait for those 180 days.

If you are using a stealth account, you have no way to prove you are the real guy behind that stealth.

That's the issue that stealth accounts has over real ones.

If somebody can come and enlighten me on this, then you can find a better solution.

No ID, no money.

Chances of conning paypal with phake ID is very slim. Best prepare yourself for losing this money.

You already gave a driver's licence and were rejected...like Hank said, the phake ID is being scrutinized by PP - just have to wait and see it would seem...

I restored the account 2 days ago, with pasport.

Can u show which docs they required from u?

They wanted a drivers license before.
When I first registered the account, before I received any money they asked for my drivers license and I gave them a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ one which they accepted.

However, after a while they asked for my drivers license again, and proof of delivery. I gave them the same drivers licence and i told them that I was not selling any goods ( i was collecting donations) and therefore had no proof of delivery. After that they banned my account.

So I don't know if they banned my account because they figured out my drivers license was ⊗⊗⊗⊗ or because I didn't provide any proof of delivery.

Now they are asking for either birth certificate or passport.
