loggin into old PayPal account that's blacklisted
 

Hey,

I tried logging into a PayPal account that' I haven't used in years I assumed it was banned and of course I used internet cafe and a friends device,

I could not remember that password and went to reset password

it kept saying something went wrong yet when I tried with other made up details it would say username and password not correct

So my question is does PayPal stop you from resetting password on a banned account?

No but if its a totally new device and new IP / ISP it will stop you from resetting the password sometimes.

What are you trying to accomplish accessing a banned account?

You shouldn't use an internet cafe and you didn't need a friend's device.
you could simply use your old windows user account or just create a new one.

Was your PP acc banned as in totally banned and they parted ways with you?
If so they'd have deleted the account that you can't login.

No,Paypal never delete any account,you may close it,but Paypal still keeps it,along with your bank account,cc etc
