Paypal Limited 180 Days Do I have to Pay Ebay Fees?
 

My paypal account was limited for 180 days. My question is when the 180 days is up will I still have to pay the Ebay fees? I owe like $300.00 in fees so I am trying to get out of paying them. I need an anwser from someone who has actually had their account limited for 180 days and at the end of the 180 did they automatically take the Ebay fees? Or did you have to pay them if you wanted to? I need to know because I have a couple of items I still need to ship out and if I have to pay the Ebay fees I am not going to ship and just relist later. Please someone let me know!!

Because as I remember when the 180 days is up you can only withdraw the money to a bank account you cant send payment anywhere. Someone please let me know!

I believe they will take the fees out of your paypal account even if it is limited.

Depends if your ebay account is linked to your paypal to pay your ebay fees

Nope they won't take any from u if u have a gift card on file. I never paid them a cent when the suspend me.

I have gone through this a few times this year. In ebay have your VCC card set up for primary payment to ebay, with no backup method. Ebay cannot touch your paypal funds then.

Then after the 180 days, you will be able to withdraw the money to your bank account from paypal. There is no involvement with ebay at all.

Your money is safe in my experience. Think of it as in the bank.

Crap! Well if I had known that I would have shipped out the rest of the stuff before the holidays. I had like 30 packages ready to ship with already paid for labels but then BOOM it got limited. I didn't want to ship them because I owe like $400.00 in Ebay fees so I wasn't going to just sell stuff to pay Ebay fees ya know.

I was advised against shipping once limited as there is no guarantee that ebay might not change things in the next six months and stop you from getting your money.

In truth I ship the US orders which have tracking, and refund the international orders, where chargebacks will happen long before these untrackable packages get to their destination.

Remove ebay from the Paypal paylist so ebay cant take the fees. You will find this in profile > paylist. Then ebay cannot take the fees from paypal at all.

They will just pester you by email to make a payment.

I have been limited aswell, but I still ship out sold items. All you have to do is wait 180 days to withdraw the money.
