| | | | | GigiMcgee | 12-12-2025 10:30 PM | Has There Ever Been A Court Victory Regarding A "TRUE" Stealth Account? Long story short many many years ago I purchased some stealth accounts that was banned after I raised a decent amount of money with them to the tune of ten's of thousands of dollars USD. I have some accounts that never got banned, I have some that were banned and I was able to withdraw, but Im speaking specifically about the ones I was not successful at withdrawing even after the BBB and CFPB methods.
The accounts in reference was given the 180 day wait and the funds was drained with the AUP damages claim. I purchased these as stealth accounts which means they were made using other's credentials, I recently saw a few ads for some attorneys and firms that help with stolen, hacked, missing funds etc and I always put this on the back burner as something I plan to address but never really got around to it so I guess I want to research it now.
So my question, Is there even one legitimate case here of someone getting there funds back by way of legal action on a "Verified" stealth account? Basically when the account is verified under a name, address, etc. different than your Gov name and address, although You may have things associated with you on the account such as your banking details.
I don't mind speaking with attorneys, they're always pretty cool anyways, just wanted to do some research with the good old group to see what's out there. Even if there's a 0.001% chance of me getting it back considering it was close to 10 years ago, I've always been curious if it was ever done before and If someone would know someone who've done it this is where they will be.
P.S. I'm not in dire need, I'm not stressing over this and I'm not really trying to hard for it. This is mostly curiosity but I do think if I was a celebrity or highly notable and I mentioned on a public platform how I bought stealth accounts back in the day and how paypal screwed me over, all of sudden a friendly english speaking paypal rep would be very happy to help me recover those funds. |

I'm just saying.... I prepared the post accordingly and still got the heat. :noidea: |

If you were a notable person I think its more likely you'd find yourself under investigation for fraud and money laundering by an attention hungry district attorney wanting to make a name for themselves. |

What's the amount in question you're trying to get back? |

I think the problem would be if I'm using other's credentials to create accounts. So I still stand by my thought that if I gained some massive notable appeal and scrutinized PayPal practices toward me back in the days and how I had to adapt and how they still stole large sums from me, it would make the company friendly towards my older endeavors back in my poorer days. They wouldn't want the bad publicity or they may even want to turn it around and agree to return all funds if I publicly spoken positively about them. I've seen cases like this happen before, obviously not with stealth accounts but still the difference in disregarding their own policies before and after the notability. Quote:

I don't use paypal that much these days, especially since ebay switched to managed payments and alternative selling platforms began to rise. |

Do you still have the bank account linked to those stealth accounts? |

Even if she wins, does she still have the same bank account open?
if it lets her changes to a new bank account, would Paypal allow a bank account not in stealth name?A lot has changed in ten years.
If she hires a lawyer to write to Paypal,Paypal legal dept would have to respond,if she is willing to spend the money on legal fees |

Who told you that old members were being harsh?
Yes , there are a few who are like that and I have warned them about it, even put them on time out.
But for the most part, most older members are nice.
to answer, I know there's some stealth acc holders who did a class action a while back and actually won everything. |

Unlike Aspkin, I'm not giving people a 2nd chance. Once is enough.
So QUIT IT! |
