Thats a long list!

If you can't come up with the docs PP will hold your funds for 180 days, after which you should be able to withdraw to your bank account on file.

Any chargebacks or successful buyer claims will be deducted from the balance.

so, I just keep waiting for 180 days, without providing any information, I still can get my money back?

captainjack1980 01-08-2010 11:45 AM

Yes that is correct.

The only exception is if you get any chargebacks or claims from buyers! Or if Paypal find out you were selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗.

Just make sure you leave the bank account attached and open, otherwise the only option is a cheque sent to the address on file. You should get an email after the 180 days is up outlining the options.

If you're selling what is marked out for a reason.... duck and run away from it.

If PP discover you are selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ you are unlikely to get any funds - they will keep them (it's in the user agreement).

Unless your PayPal account is suspended because eBay suspended you for selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗, it's highly unlikely PayPal will find out. Trust me.

Not exactly. If you do nothing, the account will stay limited pending your response. It will not automatically go to 180 days hold and then release of the funds. This limitation requires a response.

Either paypal will remove the limitation or advise you that the funds are to be held for 180 days.

My account information is not real, I make the information when I regeister the account, And I can not provide the supplier's information. What is your suggestion now? Thanks for your help

Make something up! GreenBean is absolutely correct you need respond to trigger the review.

After which you will either get reinstated or the Dear John.

Yes its just a case of waiting the 180 days. I have 2 accounts that have about 150 days to go before I can access funds.

I also have an account that got limited and I forgot the password! lol, after 180 days they emailed me and said i could withdraw funds.

However I could not remember the password and as it was stealth the security questions were stealth and i couldnt remember those either.

So I lost those funds, and put it down to experience. I think there was about £650.

But since that I have never done the same again. If you get a 180 day limitation write the details down, ie log in . password, sec questions.

Put in in your diary for 180 days, then you can withdraw it all.

After that I think they automatically delete the account.

I wouldnt know as once funds removed there is no point to go into that account anymore, apart to make changes if need be.

4joy 01-12-2010 07:29 AM

However, My ebay account is still working now, Can I link this ebay account to new paypal account?

captainjack1980 01-12-2010 07:35 AM

Not a good idea! You will just be setting yourself up for another limitation.

If you can't get the PP limitation lifted on your current account it would be better to start again.

Is it enough to contact Paypal by email and say that you will not be providing any of the ridiculous information that they request?

Can they refuse to release funds under normal circumstances?

Ie my sin is to sell too many things too quickly and that is "suspicious"

Maybe you didn't read my paypal story, but you can search for it.

Yes paypal can refuse to release funds under normal circumstances. How do I know? They refused to release funds to me a few weeks ago after my account was shut down for stupid reasons!

Yes you have committed a sin by selling too many things too quickly and that triggers to know where you get all your items from for paypal stupid triggering system so there you go.

To whoever said paypal deletes your account after funds are transferred... Whoever told you that needs too double check. I called paypal and many paypal employees told me from there own mouth that your information is never deleted and stays there for security purposes and for future purposes!
