Limitation Question

Hi Guys,

Does limitation(s) on occur due to actions on eBay? I'm thinking of purchasing a verified US PayPal account on here to do a lot of business off of eBay - and the numbers will be fairly high.

What are my chances? How can I avoid PayPal limited and having that power of controlling my bloody money!?

Thanks in advance, EH :)

If you don't link it to Ebay in anyway and use it solely for other business then chances of limitation will be less.

You would be better setting up your own UK account though, in my opinion....

I had my own account. I had a business verified for 3 years - then, all of a sudden, they limited it. I gave them supply information, that I had been working with for 3 years - and they rejected my appeal and weren't removing the freeze.

My ebay account with a feedback score of 11000 was also closed - I'm in the process of getting some legal action against them to sue them; hopefully hit them hard. But, whilst I'm waiting for all that, I just need to get back to earning money again!

Thanks for the advice though, CaptainJack (Great Username!) :)

Good luck and sorry to hear about your loss.

If you want to get your own PP account up and running it's easy:

New windows user account or get CCleaner to clean your main PC account.
New IP address (restart your modem/router and see if you get a new one).
VCC from entropay.co.uk.
New address (ideally one you have access to i.e. PO box, work etc.)
New email address.
New bank account.
New phone number (virtual one will do, or BT call sign etc)

You can use your own name or a variation of it if you wish.

When all this is covered you are ready to go and set up your new PP account.

I have similar question. My paypal got limited twice within a month but they did reinstate after i provided them the information requested but i still have fear what if it happens again?? How can i avoid PAYPAL LIMITATION. That's the only money i am relying on.

Do limits on occur on when you receive money from ebay ?
What if i send payment request to my customer, will that also lead to limitation?

I really need to know if there is a way i could avoid paypal limitation?
Please help!

Hi Guys. I heard having third part checkout i.e. e-junction or DPD will reduce the risk of limitation. So if i use E-Junction on ebay sales (paypal and google checkout integrated), is it true you are less likely to be limited from paypal?? Looking for ways to avoid Paypal limitation. I feel like there is no point of having a new account if you know paypal will limit at some point? Is there any way you could avoid paypal limitation, i read an e-book, it gives me some good info, all info is also available here, withdrawal amount, ip changes etc all the basic things that should dont do when you are new. But one thing that is mentioned and recommended there is THIRD PART checkout like E-junction, any good for UK ?
